i really believe in the healing powers of crystals. i have them all over the house. friends and family love the atmosphere in my house and i believe the crystals help create that. i carry them with me too. i choose which crystals to carry depending on how i am feeling or what i think i need help with on any particular day. all the archangels have their own aura colour and crystal affinities too, so carrying the right crystal can bring you closer to the archangel who is with you right now. mary xx

hiya once all the present round of changes and additions to the website have been completed and go live (they seem to be taking soooooooo long, lol, to l'il miss impatient here) i am hoping to add to the Crystals page. i will be adding "crystals for healing physical ailments" (which must be used alongside conventional medicine of course), and possibly a "crystals for love" section too also my daughter will be making crystal bracelets soon - she makes beaded personalised dummy clips and keyrings at the mo - once she starts to do the bracelets, i will get a link up for her too xx

hiya i am at the other end of the uk from you, so i really dont know. i would have suggested you use my local crystal shop as they have a website, but as you dont want to order on line ...... you could try calling them and ask them to pick you a piece whilst you are on the phone - they are very intuitive there. if that is any use to you, try googling ARISTIA. sorry i cant help any more on that one, goodluck! mj xx

I have carried a piece of Lapis Lazuli around with me over the last 6 months. I was intuatively attracted to it. When I went to an alternative festival called Out of the Ordinary and there there was a crystal man who I happened to come accross, quiet young but born looking at the ground he was and from a very young age he was very attracted to stones and crystals. He can sense them and they speak to him. And so I sjowed him my crystal, asked him to cleanse it for me. He said he is not normally attracted to Lapis but said mine had been working very hard for me...absorbing a lot of negative energy away from me...he didnt know that I had been in a very hard relationship that was actually about to come to an end! So I am a total beliver in these beautiful stones that are on a different frequency from us. I belive that stone picked me and I know that when the time is right it will pick a new carrier to help. wether I give it away, or it looses me! : )

hiya star i agree that crystals can be amazing, i have a few very special ones here, and a lot more that i use when i need them. i like to wear rose quartz, blue lace agate and hematite as bracelets a lot of the time, my daughter (gem) has just made me a new rose quartz one as i wore the last one out and broke the thread a few weeks ago. i must find the time to post a "message" here on how to cleanse and dedicate your own crystals. i do mine on a fairly regular basis, or when i feel they are "full up" and need re-energising. it's an easy process to do at home if i forget to get it posted, just give me a nudge! mj xx

Yes that would be usefull to know, as at the moment I am just running them under tap water. I have a very beautiful rose quartz necklace that my ex brought me to help me over our break up, I wore it for weeks none stop. He also brought me a blue necklace but I cant tell if it is Lapis or something else, it has flecks in it but not the same goldish colour as Lapis. Mmmm I just dont know what it is : )

hiya star if you are on bebo, try uploading a pic of it (the blue necklace) and mail it to me there. i have a very good crystal book and may be able to identify it for you? if not, let me know and i will give you an e-mail address you can send the pic to. i have been really busy but i will honestly try to post a crystal cleansing thread. running them under tap water is a very good way of doing it, tho, tis like a waterfall. you then just need to dedicate each crystal - i will post that too (soon, i hope!). hugs from me xx

hiya star, i have sent you an e mail address you can send the piccie to. the way to dedicate a crystal is as follows: first, cleanse it - running it under tap water as you have been doing is the easiest way. some crystals can be immersed for a few minutes in salt water first, but, as it can damage some to do that, i would stick with the tap water. you can either dry it with a clean cloth, or leave it on a windowsill in sunlight or moonlight to dry. whilst you are cleansing it, hold the intention in your mind that any negative energies it may have absorbed will be transformed into positive ones. another way to cleanse crystals is to stand them in an energising crystal cluster (such as clear quartz) for about 12 hours. dedicating and programming your crystal - as you know, all crystals have different qualities (i am hoping to add some more info about them to the site soon). so, for instance, if you have a piece of rose quartz, and want it to help bring love into your home, or to give you more self confidence, you hold the crystal between the palms of your hands and picture white light surrounding it, and try to attune to the crystal's energy. then state your intentions/needs for it very clearly (a few times if you need to). it is then up to you whether you wear it, keep it in your pocket or just close by - whatever feels right. you can also dedicate stones for other people (but only if you have their permission). hope that helps mj xx
