what do you do to relax?
meditate? listen to music? watch tv? curl up with the cat?
personally i like to listen to music, enigma being my favourite, enya a close second. (bob loves pink floyd) everyone has their own way of relaxing at the end of the day, i am curious to know how our members take "time out"

I go for a walk. When I have a lot on my mind & can't relax, the act of walking, calms me down. When I return from walking, I am calmer & more relaxed.

walking by the sea is good, i love to listen to the waves. and there's nothing like digging your toes in the sand on a lovely warm day either  and i forgot to mention massage before. that is one of the best ways of relaxation if you have a willing partner to oblige! mary xx |

That would be great. I too, love to walk on the beach & hear the waves crash. The only trouble with that......Las Vegas is about 300+ miles from the Pacific Ocean. Lake Meade is not quite the same.

i suppose we are lucky here, we are about a 10-15 min drive from the beach. it is a pebble one, but lovely all the same  mary |

I like to write or read when I want to relax. Reading takes me into another world and writng really makes me think so if I'm having a bad day or feeling down, I write and my mind is taken off of feeling bad or down. X

Well I usually like to listen to Rod Stewart, but right now the c.d player has been packed away whilst we redecorate, which is taking FOREVER, I just wish hubby would get a move on and decide where the electronics are going then I can get back to listening to music.

after decorating for most of the past ten days, i would LOVE a massage right now ....... the house is looking great but i soooooooooooooooooo ache!! some lovely aromatherapy oils and a full massage would go down a treat, lol.
