I am a Virgo. And for the most part, I behave like one.
A little reminder: We are more than our Sun Signs.
We are a combination, of our entire chart; each of us. That is why no two people are exactly alike. Twins aren't exactly alike. Four minutes in birth time can change the natal chart.
Sun Sign astrology is a valuable & an important tool, but to rely on it as being the "end all" description, is like saying that all Germans are alike, all Britons are alike. All men? All Women?
Basics: Personal Planets
Our Sun sign is who you want to be, when we "grow up'.
Our Ascendant, having to do with birth-time, is how we appear to the world.
The Moon is how we feel & express our emotions.
Mercury is the way we communicate & think.
Venus & Mars are, naturally, the female & male energies, but they are also the values & physical energies we express.
Jupiter has to do with the higher mind, the urge to improve the state of things. It governs expansion & wisdom.
Saturn is discipline & ambition. It governs limitation & responsibility.
The rest of the planets are generational, that is, they apply to whole age groups, because they move so slowly thru the Zodiac.
Uranus represents the freedom urge, individuality, what makes us unique.
Neptune brings us either spiritual strength or escapist tendencies.
Pluto represents the urge to transform, birth, death & rebirth.
There are also Asteroids, fixed stars & many other things that can be added to the chart but the planets are the most important. This is just a thumbnail to show how all the planets makeup the picture of who we are.
The natal chart is not something that "makes" us who we are, but it tells us what we brought with us, when we were born. Kind of like when you buy a car, you receive an owners manual that tells you what you need to know to get full use of the vehicle. Important things, like how big the fuel tank is, whether it has power steering or CD player. The natal chart is an owners manual for your body/life. It tells you your potential & limitations if you know how to read the manual.
I am a Virgo. But I also have a Cancer Ascendant & an Aries Moon.
So, I'm not perfect! But I can be long winded.

i am a gemini, and have a lot of the "usual" personality traits - i talk a lot, for instance! but a gemini is supposed to love gatherings and being the centre of attention, and i am not great in crowds so i am def not totally typical. i also invariably get on really well with librans, aquarians and fellow geminis. bob and my daughter are both librans and my best mate, tina, is an aquarius (so was my hubby ) i was really pleased that my new grandson - charlie was a gemini  and from what i have experienced so far, in a few different situations, i rarely get on with sagittariun males, lol, they tend to be very bossy towards me and i am far too soft to deal with it! so as far as relationship/friendship matches go, i totally believe in the compatibility (or not) of all the different signs. i would love to know what other people think? mary xx |

You got it almost right, Mary.
Gemini's are air signs & love communicating, but it's those other parts of your chart that allows you to be comfortable in crowds. It's those Librans that are social butterflies. Gemini, Libra & Aquarius are air signs so they are generally compatible. Sagittarius is your opposite sign, so it's a balancing act, as far as compatibility. Still it shows that it's the whole chart that needs to come into play when you talk about compatibility.

I'm a scorpio, born on 26th October. I don't think I'm a typical scopio though - a few of my friends are and they seem to match it more closely than I do. However, I am very loyal & caring. I'm not really secretive or ruthless which can be said about our sign. I do have a wee sting in my tail if I get messed around tho lol Dx |

hi jacqui lol, not according to the info i researched - you will find all the relationship matches on the astrology page on the website - BUT please remember they are just "supposed" matches and for fun. i know loads of couples who have been together for years when they are completely opposite signs. none of us are the same (thankfully!), so please dont worry about it. so long as you are happy, that's great! i started a poll about it on my bebo profile today, to see how many people think the personality traits and relationship matches ring true for them. it will be interesting to see what people think (although bebo is very quiet lately) nice to see you on the forum xxx |

As you get older it won't be so boring. My daughter is an Aries. Aries always wants to be first, bring down barriers, & stand up for themselves. They are great at getting things started but usually lack follow through to complete the job unless the chart is well aspected.
You are one of the most outgoing signs in the Zodiac.
