Do any of you's know what dreams actually are? Are they messages? Imagination? Fear? All of the above? Do you believe they even represent anything?

hiya i think it depends. dreams can reflect what you are feeling, or maybe something you have heard or done during the day. if i am really worried about something, i always dream that i am lost and cant find my way home, so i think that reflects my feelings. sometimes i dream about something and remember the next day that it was similar to something i saw on tv or maybe heard during the day before. if you have a repetitive dream, i believe that is the Angels or your Higher Self trying to convey a message to you. it is also said that people that you have lost will contact you in your sleep as that is when you are at your most relaxed and receptive. mj xx

You usually don't need to be worried about dreams of dieing. In dreams, death usually means an end of something, such as a relationship or a way of thinking. According to the "Dream Dictionary": A vehicle crash is self-desired failure - perhaps to avoid stress or responsibility & change, fear of failure, failure in relationships, etc. Bridges have to do with crossing from one phase of life, activity,or emphasis to another. Falling has to do with fear of failure, loss of confidence, or a threat to usual sources of security. Movement such as jumping has to do with your mental state, your confidence or lack of it, your ability to make changes, etc. End of the world dreams accompany major life transitions & social changes, such as childhood to adolescence or adolescence to adult, even the onset of menopause or children leaving home can trigger this type of dream. Don't worry, Sara. These dreams are normal & they usually don't mean what you would expect at first glance. Once the fear is gone you can look at the "visions" you receive & start to understand what your subconscious is telling you about yourself. Death is not something to be feared. It is only a doorway we all pass, thru to move from one life experience to another. A friend told me once, that the only time you need to worry about dreams of death, is not your death, it is when the people you dreamed of dieing actually die like the dream. Which, I am glad to say, doesn't happen very often.

I have dreams of alll sorts. I know when I am emotional about something, I don't remember my dreams. It's when I am relaxed and 'open' that I have the vivid ones. They range from present events in my life to things like messages from my grandmother. guardian angel, etc. I LOVE going to sleep! I never know what's in store!!

I think dreams are a reflection of your subconscious self. It is you speaking to your self about your feelings, emotions, and experiences in life. You can get a very good insight into yourself through analysing your dreams. They are never about anyone else, only how you feel about them. . . unless it is a premonition!
Sleep well : )

I was with my partner for 26 yrs not married, it just didnt happen. Always intended to but for some reason we didnt get round to it. It wasnt until the day he died that it occurred to me? It wasnt important but i felt almost a sadness and I suppose a feeling of emptiness even more, just for a moment. That thought bought about feelings of loneliness and uncertainty. Had me wondering and doubting whether we ever had a love connection and unsure about his feelings towards me. When you loose a partner in life or any one special you are left with unanswered thoughts...'did he truely love me?'. But there is no second chance. Any way, I had this dream that we got married...and it was absolutely beautiful...lol. And like with most weddings i assume ppl have a special song. Mine was 'Twelfth of Never'...not really a song ive heard at any wedding but was so appropriate i thought. I awoke the next morning with a tear. I couldnt shake that song out of my head and for some strange reason that song appeared over the next few weeks. Once at a funeral? and another through a friends marriage break-up. Okay my point is...those inner thoughts...questions unanswered became clear. That song gave me peace of mind and what better way to get a message across. How fortunate we are to be blessed by angels.

tepua it is said that our lost loved ones come to be with us whilst we are sleeping as that is when we are at our most relaxed and receptive. from what you have told us here, my first thoughts were that it was your partner giving you the wedding that you were regretting you never had, showing you that he loved you and that there was never any doubt of that. Angels will always repeat any message that they wish to get across, too, and the fact that you have heard that song repetitively would also strike me as being your Angels and your partner making sure that you had "got the message" that your dream was significant. It shows that our lost ones still watch over us and try to help us when they are gone, and i am really glad that you were helped to attain some peace of mind with your dream. big hugs mj xx

I definitely believe dreams are a combination of diffrent things. Usually when i have a recurrant dream or having nightmares constantly everynight, i take it thats a sign that i have not been dealing with my problems and need to sort them ASAP instead of putting them on the back burner. Sometimes my dreams show me being in situations ive never been in before and its almost like its a test to see how you would deal with it if you were awake. Several years ago i was told of a death of someone i was freinds with in my childhood and was upset as i didnt know about it and it had happend the year before. A few weeks later i dreamed that she walked towards me and looking at me thru a window with her hair blowing in the wind, she didnt say anything except gaze at me, then i woke up. I guess that was my way or her way of saying hello and goodbye. Dreams certainly can be funny at times.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help with a dream I had a few years ago as it seems never to fade from my mind as I dont know why perhaps I was meant to learn something I don't know in my dream i was wandering around lost in a strange place all the time I was aware of a strange high pitched noise and for some reason it scared me eventually I came to a place with stones set in a kind of circular pattern in the ground when I looked down at it I could see that one was loose and that is where the noise was comming from I bent down to touch it but I was scared too and I got up and ran away I found myself in a grey coloured hut inside was a native american indian he was very beautifully dressed I suddenly felt very calm he asked me what was wrong I told him about the loose stone and the noise that I was afraid of he spoke in a calm soothing voice and told me to pick it up that nothing would harm me and then he said I should go and look I went back outside to the stones and bent down and picked the stone up and looked underneath but it was just a hole nothing was there I went back to look for my friend but he was gone I woke up soon after that and I felt strange for a couple of days after I can't explain why I have never had another dream like it but I wish I could, can anyone help me please I would love to figure out what, if anything it meant.

Well, according to my Dream Dictionary, being lost indicates that you were in a new area of experience, a new situation or period of your life. The most important part seems to be the sound you were hearing. Sounds are sometimes a power in dreams. They reach out & cause something to happen at a distance. When you turned over the stone, you found that there was nothing to fear. This suggests that a use of positive will, a confident expression of yourself will allow you to produce a positive result.
