Is it personal to all of us? I mean, do we all have a different purpose in our lives? And how do we know what it is? Do we find out after we die?
I thought my purpose in life was research, to talk to people from different walks on life, help with their problems and find out more about... everything.
But does this purpose have an over all goal? :\ Sara..

Sara, I am very impressed that a young woman, your age, is asking these types of questions. Unfortunately, many of us wait until my age to start asking, "What's the purpose?'. "Why am I here?'
First of all, we are spiritual beings in a physical bodies. Ask any scientist, we are electric energy. Computers mimic our brains. Electricity can not be destroyed but it can be changed.
If you ascribe to reincarnation, we are here on the physical plane, to perfect our soul/spirit until we return to the Universal Spirit/God.
God experiences life, this physical world, through us. What we see, feel, & think, is communicated to the Universal Consciousness all the time. And I bet you thought you were just talking to yourself.
This is the way I understand it: Before you were born, you consulted with the "Lords of Karma" about what you wanted to work on(Karma) & who you could be with this time. The people in your life, have been there before, in the same or different roles: Mother could have been a friend or enemy, Father could have been your daughter......it all gets VERY confusing. Anyway, you choose your mother & father & the circumstances of your birth. That is why you can't blame those things for your lot in life. You chose them, just remember all GREAT/historical people overcame great obstacles in their lives on the road to success. Those with few obstacles, rarely obtain the strength or endurance to achieve much. Both spiritually & materially.
Freewill. I'm sure you've heard that term before. It means you have the choice. With your life. The way you think. YOU make the decisions as to what works for YOU. There is no right or wrong. There are consequences though. Rob a store, go to jail. Trust a untrustworthy person, get abused. Fortunately or unfortunately, if you never made a mistake, you would never learn anything.
What works? Make the choices that really work for you & all things are possible. A wise man once said, people are just about as happy as the make up their minds to be. Success or purpose in life, is not the same for everyone. For some it is being the CEO of a company, for others it is motherhood. For some it is being an artist, for others it is being the best waitress/waiter. Remember? No right or wrong, just what works for you. Do what you love to do. You brought everything you needed to have with you, to achieve you goals.
I do not have all the answers. In fact, some will say I don't know anything. Truth seems to be in the eye of the beholder when it comes to the metaphysical & spiritual worlds.
What I can say, from my perspective, is that there is a Purpose or Plan. What, I don't know. Wish I did....I'm always very curious. There is no such thing as coincidence. Everything happens for a purpose. If for no other reason than to give us a choice. Another chance to grow.
I can see the path I have traveled & the people I have touched. If you look carefully, you can see the path, even though you didn't like the destinations, or even the sights along the way. Some of us can see, a little, a few can see more, And some, or most, are blind as bats in the daytime.
You, my dear, are at one of the most important places to be. Nothing has ever been accomplished without first asking the Question. And what is even more amazing is that you can't even ask the question without already knowing the answer. God, Spirit, conscious; whatever you want to call it, is already telling you the answer to the question. It may be telling you that what you've read here is true. Then again, it may tell you that I'm chock full of blueberry jam. Personally, I prefer strawberry.
Choices. That's what life is. If you don't like your choice, choose again. Everything is on the menu here. Some of the prices are listed, some aren't. But it's your choice.
There are people sitting in prisons today that will tell you that they didn't have a choice, to steal the money, to hurt someone. They don't see that they had the choice Not do whatever it was. Not the preferred choice, not the one that would solve their problem, but they did have that choice.
Well, you now have enough information to either set you up for several years of therapy or what you need to start looking for the choices on the menu. Chose wisely.
You can even chose dessert.

I definately believe that everyone and everything has a purpose, be it in lif or in death.
The reason I say death is that for my personal experience it was in death.
I lost my first child at approx 14 weeks pregnant. At the age of 18 I did not have a clue what was going on and nothing was explained very well at the time. I was devastated and nevr got over it, until very very many years later.
My son was in fact never meant to be born. I went on to have four children and while I was carrying my 2nd daughter (now almost 12) her father tried to kill me. It was just a week before she was born. I should never have made it through but somehow I did.
Years later I was told by a psychic that my child had saved me that night. Of course, being pregnant when it happened I just assumed that somehow that had saved me.
It wasnt until last year while visiting an angel card reader that my son came through. He showed himself as the 16 year old he would be now if he had been born.
So it turns out it was his purpose to be concieved by me yet not to be born. His connection was to save myself and his sister. We are both healers. He is also my spirit guide and comes through to my daughter all the time. She talks to him all the time htough she doesnt fully realise yet that she is.
I feel so honoured to be his mother and I couldnt have asked for anything better, I owe him my life, my daughters life and I am so glad that I finally understand why it all happened the way it did.
And to me, he had a hell of a purpose.

hiya joanne. it's my belief that the Angels love to help us and try to get messages to us any way that they can. this is often through what many would call a "gut" feeling, or your instincts. an Angel Card Reading is a way for them to give more information or guidance by channelling what they what to say through the reader and the cards to get their messages across. if you feel that you want to chat with the Angels, either silently or out loud then go ahead, i'm sure they will be listening to you. xx

Hi folks This post has been very interesting to me. I'm always wondering what the meaning of life is and what god's plan is for me. Now I know that I made it was my decision before I was born. I'm amazed!! I talk to the angels all the time and if a friend is going through a bad patch I ask my angels to talk to their angels to help heal them. I feel I'm close to realising my reason for being. I'm not 100% sure but I believe I am meant to spread the word about angels and to get people to communicate with them regularly (which I do, even if I am ridiculed). p.s I've never needed my angels more than at this moment as I've been unemployed since November. Thanks to Mary Jac for her angel card reading. I know they are taking care of me and this is one of my life lessons. Dawn xxx
