Hi, I enjoy creative writing. I am inspired by people I meet and express my inner most thoughts and feelings...
************************************
People come and go in my life, Giving of themselves through thoughts of advice. We don’t always understand things that may happen, From those who share the same feelings... we have a connection.
To see things from another point of view, To open that door and to see what comes threw. Family and friends are like no other... Memories to cherish, one will discover.
To touch a soul is rare but true... A quality I believe is a reflection of few. To find one's strength we must reach deep' A warm embrace for those to keep.
To reach a place that is hard to find, And speak of one in a way so kind. ‘A flower that grows unlike no other’. ‘A diamond jewel for one to uncover’.
Minds so unique … a very special bond. Embrace each moment as we continue on… To share my thoughts with deepest desire... In return for me...true words to inspire. To embrace a friend I believe, A blessing passed on, I hope one will receive. I know this isn't much but maybe it will do, To find special friends honest and true…

What a lovely poem.
We have very similar views on things. I read your other posts. I believe that in life as you say you cannot change your destiny but you can change how you get there. Everything that happens to us, good or bad is part of our journey to where we need to be. There is a lesson in everything the trick is to see what it is and learn from it.
When something bad happens it is always to help us, though it may not seem like it at the time. It usually stops us from worse fates.
People wonder why God can be so cruel but it is not he that is destroying the world. We were given free will and it is us that destroys everything. Everything we go through leads us closer to our destiny. We will always get there in the end.

I am glad you said what you did about "God being cruel". I was told one time that there was no such thing as good or bad. That we only learn by experience & that if we never made any mistakes, we would never learn anything new. That all experience, even the unpleasant ones, are ultimately to help us survive & grow. That God experiences life, in the material world, thru us. That is why we have "free will". We are free to choose any path or decision. Make the best choices & reap the rewards; but there will be consequences if we choose poorly.
I suppose that would make this the original example of the video games we or our children, can choose to play. Lead your character through the storyline, free to choose any path, even the ones that are obvious dead ends.

Thanks 'purpleangel'...u r so right and yes we are definitely similar in thoughts. and how we view life. reading your comment is a reflection of another piece i have written. Yes we all have a path to follow...true. Good or bad...we learn from it... We do make choices in life...sometimes it may not be the right one. Thankyou for sharing that.
'It is not in the stars our Destiny but in Ourselves' - 'Shakespeare' a quote that inspires me...
Journey in Life
There's so many things I wish I could say. But lately it's been hard, never knowing from day to day. as miracles unfold in life's long journey... I treasure the memories as there have been many. One day to look back... on time that has passed. And grow to understand why the years go so fast. Some may look but not always find... A purpose to fulfill...a emptiness of some kind. We tend to reach as we look towards the stars... Time doesnt stand still, so near and yet so far. Ive come to realize...lifes greatest gift. There in front and no mountain to shift. With heartfelt thanks, not taken for granted... Moments of happiness, sadness and laughter. To embrace as destiny creates for me... Following a path of where I'm meant to be. I dont know where I'm going but do hope to find... To be blessed from above in Body, Soul and Mind.

The discussion about good and bad could go on forever. Yes I suppose that we could say there is no bad as it turns out it is for the greater good. We have all had terrible things happen to us in our lives and unfortunately not everyone finds out why.
I suppose it is because they are closed off to any other existence in this world or any other.
When we were given our free will it was not known that we would become selfish and materialistic and close ourselves off to anything else being possible. But seein places like this site and others you can see that over time more and more are changing their opinions or going back to what was always there but long forgotten.
Because fo our free will our angels cannot intervene unless we ask. And if we are not listening then we wont hear and will be unable to stop the "bad".
I believe and also hope that one day, even if it is not in my life that things will come good again. And that peace will break out instead of war.
I read a book recently written by an Irish woman Lorna Byrne. Angels in My Hair. It leads us through her life growing up with her angels, God and indeed a visit from Satan. An absolutely amazing read and puts a lot of things out there. Also gives great hope.
I am absolutely rambling here. Very tired now and losing track of thought. Will come back soon when more awake.
Hope some of it made sense,

hiya the poetry is amazing, thank you for sharing it with us. there's a lot there that i can relate to. you def have a talent. thanks again, i hope we get to see some more.
we were talking here yesterday about the fact that i was brought up believing that your life is mapped out for you on the day that you were born, even down to the day that you will die and that nothing you can do will change that. i would like to think, though, that my life choices in between are absolutely my choice, but there could, of course, be the debate that even those decisions are pre-ordained. but that would almost make us robots, wouldn't it? interesting (but not a very nice) thought! mj xx

I Robot. . . lol
Yes I believe our lives are mapped out for us as in the day we are born or even before and the day we die. There are landmark pieces in our life that I feel will happen regardless though we do change the way we get there by having our free will.
Though our intuition, which in turn is generally our Angels talking to us eventually gets us to where we are supposed to be.
My fiancé and I spent 20 crossing paths and never meeting. Hes from Uk and Im Ireland. He visited here for years fishing either staying in guesthouses I worled in. Next door to where I lived even changed town one year and I was living there. We were always supposed to meet but we seemed to keep changing our paths until we finally did.

This is where an astrological answer comes in. Part of our lives are mapped out, according to the birth chart. Conditions & certain events are indicated in the chart but how we react to each event gives us the ability to choose how these things affect us. In studying astrology, you examine charts of famous people, such as Pablo Picasso. The same aspects in his natal chart, that say he could be a great artist also could have made him a great statesman if he had gone into politics. We all travel paths, with many other paths that branch out at intersections. We all have free will to choose which path we follow. According to the Bible, even Jesus had choices. He willingly chose the path that lead to his crucifixion. May we all choose wisely.

i totally agree that our inner thoughts (instincts) are our Angels guiding us. we all just need to learn how to listen to them and follow what they are trying to tell us. they will always steer us in the right direction if we let them. mj xx

Hi Cutejv,
My name is Lucy and I would be happy to chat with you. I am no expert but sometimes all it takes is for someone to listen.
I believe the answers are always within but sometimes we dont find them until we bounce a few words off someone else.
You may chat here in the open or go to the chat forum where only members of the site can read posts, therefore aallowing other members the cahnce to offer advice aswell. Or, of course if you feel more comfortable you may send me a private mail through the pm link under my name if your not ready for complete openness.
In the meantime, take care of yourself and theres no hurry. Im here most days, if and when you want to chat.

hello cutejv i am not on the forum as much as i should be lately, but please feel free to mail me too if you are feeling really down. i can tell you, too, that lucy is great, and was there for me too recently when i wasn't so well. if it helps you at all, you could also try the "Healing with the Angels" page at www.myangelcardreadings.com/healingi made the page whilst unwell and it really helped me, so i thought it would help other people too, maybe you will find it calming - i hope so! i think that most people with a spiritual nature have been through some really tough times in their lives which, in turn, makes them very understanding when others are going through a bad patch, so i think you will find all of our members are very caring people - although very shy at times! i hope you feel better within yourself soon hugs from me mj xx
