hi tracey. nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. i am hoping to do my level 1 reiki this year, my aunty is a reiki therapist and i think it is amazing.
what does being an Integrated Energy Therapist involve?

Hi All  Really glad I have stumbled upon this website (which I'm sure I was meant to). I'm 26 and have believed in angels since I was roughly 12. Whenever I need them they are they. I simply ask them to be with me or even with the smallest details of helping me to find lost property. I've been told on several occassions that I am psychic and have healing hands. Lots of spooky goings on happen to me as I am always open to the spirit world. Any tips of how to close down properly before bed time would be appreciated  Sometimes I can't sleep at night for unwanted visitors Lots of love Dawn xxxx |

Glad to have you join us.
I had to talk with my wife after reading your post. It reminded me of stories of her nights, when she 1st moved out on her own. She has asked me to relay this:
Hi Dawn, nice to have you here. I wanted to answer you personally, because I had similar experiences. I've studied & practiced astrology for 40 years. I have been psychic all my life. Astrology is easy to understand, as it is so mental. The spooky stuff is something else. Everyone has their own way of handling it, I'll be glad to share mine.
First thing, PLEASE don't remain open to the spirit world, all the time. You will attract negitive spirits & wandering spirits, who want to communicate with anyone that can "see' them. Even spirits "just passing thru" can be taxing on your energy. It's something like leaving a webcam & microphone focused on you 24/7. Nobody can handle that much attention all the time...it will suck your energy dry.
Before you go to bed, take a bath with salt in it or pour salt-water all over you after a shower. It will help change your energy. Keep a fresh glass of water by your bed. Put a pinch of salt or salt-water in the corners of your room.
Gather the angels that care for you & ask them to keep you safe, all night, & to keep the strangers away. Tell the angels how much you love them. Ask the unwanted strangers, to please go away & let you sleep.
And pray...pray...pray. Pray to Jesus or Mary, even if you are Jewish... both were jews.
Get yourself a Rosary & say the Rosary before bed or anytime you feel overwhelmed. I'm never without mine & I'm not Catholic.

hi caryn, and thank you for helping dawn, i know a salt water bath can be very cleansing and hope that all that info helps dawn to shut down at night. the one thing that i can relate to that dawn has said is finding lost property. i was told by a medium friend years ago to just stand quietly in the room and say out loud "please can i have (whatever it is) back". it is amazing as you will invariably then find the object you have been searching all over for, very quickly. often in a place that you have already looked. you just know where to look again mary xx |

That's very good, Mary. I hadn't heard that one before.
I asked Caryn to give Dawn some advise about being bombarded by unwanted spirits because Caryn had told me about her experiences. She described many nights, when she was first on her own, sitting in her room, reading the Bible & saying the Rosary; while spirits literally dive-bombed her throughout the night. And they say, that there's no rest for the wicked. When you are wide open to the spirit world, you must be able to close the door sometimes.
I certainly hope Caryns advice gives Dawn some relief.

Thank you for the very sound advice - I will be sure to try it out. Anything to stop the loud bangs aka bumps in the night I seem to immediately know that it's a noise in my head, which is spirit trying to let me know they are there. I also get a tingling sensation across my legs as if someone is sitting on my bed. One thing I am grateful for is not specifically "seeing" spirits. If u can imagine looking up into a clear blue sky and seeing air particles moving about, this is the way I see someone in my room for instance. Very strange I know! Less frequently I've had instances when I close my eyes to go to sleep and see very small images (in black and grey) of people mouthing " help me" or appearing to point at me as they realise I can see them. hiya jim, nice to "meet you". there is a blog on my profile here: www.bebo.com/xx_kind_of_magic_xx that explains more about how i do the readings. i dont ask the Angels definite questions for people, but ask them for a true and accurate reading each time, and for them to tell me, through the cards, what they want the recipient to know. from the feedback i have had, people have found the readings to be helpful, accurate and comforting. if you ever decide that you would like a reading, you know where i am mj xx |
