I am due to start a course tomorrow with an incredibly multi-talented lady. Part of the course is learning palmistry. (the other part will be astrology). Have any of you ever learnt to read palms, and what do you think of the idea? mj xx

i loved the first part of my course ;D i didn't realise how much information we have on our hands and i think it is fascinating. i had my own palm read as part of the lesson, too. you will have to all photocopy your palms when i am finished and e-mail them to me, lol. mj xx

Hi Guys, I am interested in palm reading also, I have an old book which my father gave me Chiero's guide to the hand (£2.60 Hardback bought from the Sorcerers Apprentice) that tells you how old it is, but I find that learning from a book is a lot harder than learing from someone.
Also, as the book is quite old, I don't know if there has been any modern methods incorporated in palmisty.
I hope everything works out well for you Mary, I have a good feeling about this site, the member base will expand dramatically in the next few months.

thanks markus i hope that it does grow and get busier over time. it would be lovely to see lots of people posting on here. i dont know if the palmistry method i am learning has anything modern about it - probably not, as the person i am learning from has been doing it for around 30 years. i am due my second lesson on friday afternoon, i'm looking forward to it! mj xx
