I do have a question. In the box discribing the author, there is the notation listed as Karma: 0. Now I would be the first one to admit that I don't always read all the instructions & explainations on how sites work, but I don't seem to remember anything about it. I know how you get numbers for the posts, but....Karma? Even our Hosts have 0 listed with Karma. You'd think that if it was "easy" or usual to obtain, that the Hosts would be the first to acheive it. Hopefully we do not have to die to get a Karma listing. That would certainly limit my interaction on the message board. And then, I probably wouldn't care if I had a 1 listing by Karma. Is it possible to get a higher score? Hopefully, you don't have to come back to life to score it. Do you have to submit some kind of proof before the score is changed?
Oh, well; I just thought I'd ask. Do I hear laughing??

there you go ben, you have one karma now. you will see below each member's (author's) pic there is a link where you can either "exalt" or "smite" them. exalting gives them one good karma and if anyone smites them, that takes one away. so really it is all about the members interacting and letting others know what they think of their comments/threads etc. to be honest i had forgotten about it, but as the forum gets more members and hopefully gets busier maybe it will be used more mary x

Thank you!!!! Picture BIG smile!
And while we're at it, How about the stars. I would assume that the more stars listed means the more authority in the group. Am I close?

hiya have just checked on and sorted that one 1 x green star = new member 1 x red star = active member (10 posts - 49 posts) 2 x red stars = full member (50 posts - 99 posts) 3 x red stars = senior member (101 posts - 199posts) 4 x red stars = top star member (200 posts - 499 posts) 5 x gold stars = gold star member (500 posts or more) 5 x red stars = admin (us) so, the more you post, the higher you rank

I was wondering the exact same thing. Also, is there any way of adding to a friends list on this site? Sara.
