My daughter has been making these clips for her 8 month old son and his friends. When her maternity leave was finished, just after christmas, her employer - hays employment agency - made her redundant  so she decided to make the dummy clips her "full time job". we started a bebo page for her yesterday to promote the clips and bebo deleted it last night, mailing her to tell her that it had been deleted because of a "report of abuse" unreal!! soooooooo .............. i know it is totally off topic, but i have started a board for her here, and will now leave her to answer any questions about them  mj xx |

seems to be that anybody can call you all the names of the day on bebo and they don't get their page deleted, that page must have barely got off the ground before someone reported it, because yesterday i tried to access it and bebo said i was not authorised. so did bebo actually specify that it was abuse gem??? cos usually they ask for an example of abuse, so that just leads me to the question, does bebo actually read through reports of abuse?  because it seems they do nothing really except play 'eenie meenie minee mo' with their reports. some people are just jealous and vindictive and bebo fail to recognise or put the effort into researching abuse claims. well good luck with the clips gem, i hope it takes off for you. xxxx |

Yes, I had an email this morning to say i have been deleted due to abuse! Think someone else is either jealous or is doing the same thing and doesnt like competition!
I hope it takes off too, im sure it will! i'll just have to promote it elsewhere other than bebo! xx

OK, I give up. What are dummy clips.
I can clear up something, though. MERCURY RETROGRADE, remember.
Things STARTED for the first time, on a Mercury retrograde usually have to be done again.
Delays & confusion in communication. Wait until Mercury goes direct. Wait until the 1st of the month & you will straighten out everything.
When I was working for a large industrial supply house, I was promoted to Warehouse Supervisor & took over the position on a Mercury retro. "They" lost a 45 foot re-supply trailer in the Los Angeles rail yard for 2 weeks; they found it when Mercury went direct. Don't worry, things will straighten themselves out next week.
But I still don't know what dummy clips are.

dummy clips attach a dummy (soother/pacifier) to the baby's clothes - by means of a clip and length of ribbon, which in this case is threaded with coloured beads and beads with lettering with the child's name or nickname on the dummy is then attached the other end. so if baby spits out the dummy - you dont lose it there were pics of them on the bebo page that was deleted. which, by the way has now had a response from bebo as to the reason they deleted it - in their words "inappropriate content" !!! gem has mailed them back asking what exactly is inappropriate about dummies  mj xx |

Thank you. I know exactly what they are now. They sound great. I hope they sell well.
"Inappropriate content" , wonderful! There's no accounting for some peoples thinking.
I'm still shaking my head over not being able to print some words here. Moby **** is a well known novel & an even more well known & used name but I can't see it in my post. Amazing!
I think that some of the Puritins didn't make it to America.

just to let you know that after several mails from gem to bebo, they finally admitted they were wrong to delete the profile www.bebo.com/gembeadazzled and have re-instated it ;D i would love to know what nasty small minded person reported it for "inappropriate content". tis almost funny, when you think of all the p*orn mail and comments that are permitted to fly around the bebo site, that they would delete a babies dummies profile! i am well pleased that she won the day, good on her for fighting her corner  mj xx p.s. ben - when i set up this forum, loads of potential swear words were automatically blocked (like p*orn and d*ick) and i just left it as it was (just in case we got some oddballs), that's why you cant post some words |

That's OK. I just thought it was funny when I first encountered it. Like I said, **** is a poplar name & I thought it was even funnier when I couldn't use it in a title.

Aw I was all ready for a rant om bebo til I got to the post where it sed it was all sorted.. hehehehe. We had our lingerie group deleted but it turned out that it was just a rival who reported us and others. The pictures on the people who reported us are far more showey than ours. We didnt win but we did just open up 2 more pages. I agree that they probably dont look through the complaiints properly.
I will add the profile and put it on my top friends list to give it some publicity.

thanks lucy, gem is working hard to get established. she will be adding crystal bracelets to her list of things she is making soon. i am wearing one now that she made me last night as far as i know, she plans to make rose quartz, amethyst and citrine ones to start with, and then move on to more. if anyone would like any other stone, please let us know mj xx |
