hiya on the website i have stated 5 working days (which should always cover me in case of holiday etc) but i am usually far quicker than that. i received your reading request this morning and i will def get your reading to you over the weekend, no worries. i always wait for some "quiet time" to do readings and mostly do them in the evenings anyway. i have had my 6 month old grandson here most of today and would not even think about trying to read the cards with him bouncing all over me, lol. every person i read for deserves and gets my full attention whilst i am doing their cards. tis only right. i hope that clears that up for you nicola hugs from me mary xx

As far as the subject: Angel Cards Vs Tarot Cards; I have found that it doesn't seem to make as much of a difference, which kind you use. The difference is in the reader. Whether we use cards, or any other form of "fortune-telling" device, it is only a channel to contact spirit. The old picture of the "witch doctor" tossing the sticks & bones in the air & then giving a reading, is understandable when you see it as a way to open the channel of communication with spirit. Unfortunately, it also makes it very easy to abuse the method of communication; the same way that anyone on the internet can claim to be anyone they want you to believe. It is difficult to know the truth, unless you listen to your own guides.

it's true that people on the net can claim to be anyone or anything. it can be difficult knowing who to trust. the point of my linking this site to my bebo is so that people can see that i am a real person. there are those on my bebo friend's list that i have either met or spoken to on the phone as well. i think that the angels guide me to choose the cards for people and am always pleased when i get feedback saying how accurate they are. i have real faith in the readings myself. personally, i dont like tarot cards and i think that in the wrong or inexperienced hands they can be misinterpreted, and have known people to be scared by them, although i am sure there are a lot of very good tarot readers out there who are excellent at what they do. mary xx

I do agree. In inexperienced hands, a deck of Tarot cards or a ouija board can be as dangerous as a loaded gun. The trouble is easier to explain using a ouija board as an example. It can be like the old kids game of calling straingers on the phone, for fun. The person on the other end of the phone could be the "little old lady" down the street or a homicidal maniac or pedophile. The spirit that is contacted may not be anything you want to contact. Ever. Your reply, just affirms the idea I was stating, that spirit uses the medium of contact, whatever that might be, to give the reader the message. My wife, who has been a professional astrologer for 30 yrs & a psychic all her life, made up cards one time....Sun meant this, cloud meant that.....we found that she could give as accurate a reading, with those cards, as with any other deck of cards or chart. She opened up & let spirit speak thru her. My intention was never to criticize or start an arugement with anyone. I was using the "open ended" title you put on this question to prod some interaction with someone. After all, you must admit that the title "Angel cards VS Tarot cards", with no other follow up explaination, can take the subject in many directions. I do not have to meet you, Mary, to tell that your energy is positive. The things that you touch, whether physically or on the computer, leave the "fingerprints" of your positive energy for people to experience. I realize that this is the time of the year that people have many more things to do, other than sitting in front of a computer screen, unless they are hunting for gifts. Hopefully, there will be more interaction on the sites I have joined. Most seem to have "died" months ago. Happy Holidays!!

Hi, i think both forms are as good as each other and both forms are advice cards only and not necessarily set in stone the results of the reading,,,,,,although the Tarot is given a kind of accultic rap which is wrong,,,,,,, sure some of the pictures look gerish but the cards themselves for example of the death card can just mean the end of the old and start of a new, but like someone has stated already in the wrong hands then they could cause more panic and harm to the individual if say a tarot reader said the death card means they are going to die,,, which i should point out is not what any reader should do even if they did see something of that nature within their reading.

hi i totally agree about the cards - in as much as it doesn't matter what cards you use as long as they are in the right hands. i have just made up a new deck of "message for today" cards, which i have selected from several different packs of Doreen Virtue cards. i just trust that i will be guided to choose the right card for the right person when i am doing the readings. i am just very lucky that the Angels work with me so well and so accurately. shan - i also agree that no psychic or card reader of any kind should ever meddle with life and death issues or questions. i have a close friend who was told by a medium back in 2006 that her husband would die in july 2008. i am happy to say that he is still alive and well, but can you imagine what those two years were like for them? we were all worried sick and july itself was horrendous for the whole family. ben - i hope that this forum does get more active as time goes on too, and that members take part and maybe even start their own thread here. and thank you for your nice comment, i didn't feel that you were criticizing me earlier, i am just very aware that there are a lot of weird people on the net who will try to extract money from others immorally and really want everyone who visits the site to feel "safe" with me mary x

I've always been a little wary about tarot cards although I haven't personally had a bad reading or used them myself. I think Angel cards just feel safer and maybe that's because as a Catholic I was brought up believing that we all have a guardian angel who looks after us and protects us from harm. Anyhow, what everyone says about them being in the right hands makes sense. I only want to use my angel cards to help myself and others in a safe, non-frightening way

hiya angelfriend - as i have said before, i personally dont like tarot cards and wouldn't use them, or ask for a reading from anyone who did, but i know a lot of people really believe in them and respect that. i love the Angel cards, they have always felt right for me from the first time i used them years ago, and i think it's great when i hear how accurate, helpful and comforting the readings have been for lots of people. that really makes my day! mj xx

I'm Catholic too angelfriend which is why i stopped reading Tarot cards,,,,,,,,, but all divination is wrong in our faith even the use of Angel Cards, personally i think the Angel Cards seem to be more acceptable for many Christians to use because our faith teaching us so much about Angels, so it just doesn't seem wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,but in the eyes of the Church it is (CCC 2116) so to is astrology. I'm not saying this to slam you, far be it for me,,,,,,,,,,,,, i clocked up enough big ones of my own to worry about , i only just now tried Mary's daily reading cards and it told me that a new romance is on the way, i flipping hope not i'm married woman rolmao. Blessings Shan ps) i replied above as shanlang

There may be something specific in the Catholic Church's rulings, but there is nothing in the Bible against Astrology or divination. Astrology was accepted knowledge. The Wise-men were Astrologers, The Star of David has to do with 2 Grand Trines in his birth chart. All the Prophets were Psychics, as were Moses & other leaders. Joseph read dreams. Divination against church teaching? The whole thing is founded on divination. Just ask God.

Hello everyone : ) My way of thinking is this.... there are many tools for a workman...it is up to him to find the ones that work best for himself! It's no one elses job to do that for him, but to make sure he has as many tool options as possible. Another appropriate metaphor....a bad workman will blame his tools. : )
Love and light to all....and Mary do I have any romance coming into my life soon? ; ) xxxxx

hiya star - without doing a reading for you i cant answer that one, lol. if you decide you want a reading, just type "love" next to your proper name on the request form and i will draw the extra "Love & Relationships" card for you as well. if you type "star" there too, so it jumps out at me, so to speak, i will try to do it extra fast for you cos you are a special forum member! other than that, have you tried the free Daily Angel Guidance Cards on the Angel Card Readings page on the main website? www.tranquilwaters.uk.comthat's where Shan (Twilight) picked her "romance" card from and i know a lot of people choose a card from there every day. i know what you are saying in the comment above, i think the best way i would say a similar things is "each to their own, and we should all do what feels right to us, so long as it doesn't hurt other people". hugs from me mj xx
