do you believe that mediums really can contact our lost ones?
have you ever been to see one, and how did you feel about the experience?
i have seen mediums and was amazed at the knowledge they had about people that i have lost and the information that they passed on.

Hi Mary,
I have had a similar experience. More to do with spiritual healing though. Again questions unanswered. When my partner died I pretty much found an inner peace straight away. I wasnt one who grieved the same as others would expect one to. I thought maybe it was because I understood the process that one would go through. Like I knew what to expect and deal with it the best way i could. Anyway...life goes on and before getting back into the norm of life as a family I had a healing or blessing. An experience that was truely remarkable. We talk about the 'love and light' well I felt that...no words to describe. We experienced changes in our lives before he died and they were unusual because we questioned ourselves at the time. Those things happened for a reason and it was in preparation for me to accept his passing and understand. So that was all I needed to know. And thats why i felt an inner peace...I had been blessed and will continue to be blessed.

it sounds amazing. you are lucky that you were able to find acceptance - and very brave too!
it took me a very long time to accept my losses, i wish i had made peace with them earlier. as you said - life is too short.

hiya i booked to see one recently and before the meeting my husband passed away so when i went he had just passed away a week and he came which i didnt expect and it was amazing i found great comfort knowing he was in heaven and the stuff she told me only he and i could have know xx love catz

i was told that it was really good that the medium i saw was able to contact my hubby only two months after he passed away. for your hubby to come through after only a week shows he must have had an amazing strength of character. i am really pleased for you

My wife, Caryn, has been a psychic since childhood. She also talks with guides, spirits, & the dead. It is not unusual to have the dead stop by to talk to her. We also have dogs & cats wander thru our place because they like our energy.
She says that she doesn't really do the readings. She just steps aside & the spirit comes in & uses her body. She comes back after the reading & doesn't remember what was said...because she wasn't there.
I have seen her face change while a spirit is giving a reading. Fascinating, really.
She is also a gifted astrologer. I wonder if there is an all-encompassing title for her talents?
